API v2: watch_url and access_label removed from broadcasts

Entries in broadcasts no longer carry provider links or access labels. This is a breaking change for any integration that reads either field.

What changed

watch_url and access_label are removed from each entry in broadcasts on fixture lists, next-fixture reads and fixture details. They are also removed from the Broadcast schema in the OpenAPI document. Every other broadcast field is unchanged.

What to use instead

When watch facts are enabled and you pass market, the same reads include watch_options. Each option carries provider and channel catalogue IDs, the offer, access, availability windows and any plan or device requirement, such as a UHD pack. Options contain no URLs: keep your own service links keyed by market and catalogue ID.

If watch_options is absent or empty, no watch fact is known for that fixture. Do not infer access from the channel alone.

Migration checklist

  • Stop reading watch_url and access_label.
  • Read watch_options, and handle it being absent.
  • Map your own service links by viewing market and provider/channel ID, preserving access and plan or device requirements.
  • Continue to ignore unknown optional fields.

Compatibility

API keys, endpoints, parameters and the rest of the fixture and broadcast shape are unchanged. If your schema validation requires either field, update it to treat them as absent.

See watch facts in the v2 reference for the full watch_options contract.
